Allan is the Academic Computing Coordinator at Campbell, leading a team that supports university teaching and learning through the use of instructional technologies and related services. The team’s objective is to provide leadership, coordination, and consultative support for the use of technology to meet the pedagogical needs of the faculty and staff.
Allan holds a Masters of Science Degree in Education with an emphasis in Music and Computer Assisted Instruction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was a graduate assistant at the Computerized Education Research Laboratory. His bachelor’s degree in education is from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. His experience includes classroom instruction in secondary and higher education, instructional design, content management system implementation, process engineering and workflow design.
Allan also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Applied Music (French horn) in the College of Arts and Sciences Music Department.
