Lunch & Learn–This training initiative is offered throughout the academic school year. “Lunch & Learn” presentation topics vary depending on the need and requests. Recent presentations have been recorded and available for viewing.
Webinars- Recorded webinars are available for asynchronous professional development. Academic Computing will make these webinars available regularly. Also, Blackboard and Inside Higher Ed provides faculty and staff the opportunity to view their recorded webinars. Technology and teaching webinars are currently available for viewing.
Tech Tools- Campbell is fortunate to have access to several teaching and learning tools. The majority of these tools are online. The tech tools page provides an overview of some of the useful resources available to engage and retain students.
Tech Tips– The “Tech Tips” series is an opportunity for quick training (under ten minutes per video) to assist faculty and staff with understanding the numerous available technology tool options. The series is recorded in Tegrity or Adobe Captivate and uploaded to Youtube.
Drop In Hours– Individual faculty and/or staff members can visit Kivett 209 during Academic Computing’s drop in hours for help with instructional technologies. Tuesdays: 9:30–11:30; Wednesdays: 2:30–4:30; Thursdays: 2:30–4:30.
