Air­Me­dia for Instruc­tors and Stu­dents Help Guide

1.  Instruc­tors will drag and drop the “Air­Me­dia” icon to the mid­dle panel (Such as:  Kivett Hall class­rooms). crestron panel

Press “Air­Me­dia” in cer­tain class­rooms

2.  A screen will appear for instruc­tors and stu­dents to see and pro­ceed with con­nec­tion and col­lab­o­ra­tion.  Type in the “web address” or “IP address” in the device you want to con­nect such as a lap­top.  You will also need to input the code after down­load­ing Air­Me­dia.air media screen3.  The Air­Me­dia down­load win­dow appears.  Click on the “Win­dows” or “Mac” down­load based on your device.download4. Click on “Run”.
download run5.  Enter the “Code” and click on “Con­nect”.

6.  Click on the “Show Me” icon (tri­an­gle play icon).show me7.  Instruc­tors and stu­dents can click on the lined box icon and select “Quad View” to view four dif­fer­ent con­nected screens or select “Full” to view one screen.

Air­Me­dia on Mobile Devices

Cre­stron offers appli­ca­tions for both iOS and Android to allow users to give pre­sen­ta­tions using their mobile devices. Appli­ca­tions are avail­able at no cost from the iTunes store online store and on Google Play (search for Cre­stron Air­Me­dia). The appli­ca­tion con­nects to Air­Me­dia devices by dis­cov­er­ing them or when the IP address or host­name of the device is entered.

Con­nected devices are saved to allow for eas­ier future con­nec­tion. A search func­tion is pro­vided to quickly nav­i­gate long lists. Air­Me­dia devices can be marked as favorites for quick con­nec­tions to fre­quently used rooms.

         Air­Me­dia iOS

  1. Down­load Cre­stron Air­Me­dia app at the iTunes Store.
  2. Open the Air­Me­dia app.

  3.  Enter the IP address (iOS exam­ple).

  4. Choose the doc­u­ment, image, or “Shot & Show” on Air­Me­dia:
  • Doc­u­ment or PDF:  Select “Doc­u­ment”
  • Image:  Select “Pic­ture”
  • Screen Shot Image:  Select “Shot & Show”

    Air­Me­dia Android
  1. Down­load Cre­stron Air­Me­dia app at the Google Play Store.
  2. Open the Air­Me­dia app.

  4. Choose the doc­u­ment, image, or “Shot & Show” on Air­Me­dia:
